Seeding Change inspired me to rethink the way I go about my daily activities. While most global warming documentaries leave you feeling hopeless about our future, Seeding Change left me feeling optimistic about the fate of our planet. Its message came in loud and clear--- it doesn't take much effort on behalf of the consumer to bring about positive change. There are companies out there like SAMBAZON, Thrive, Guayaki Yerba Mate, who are willing to sacrifice their bottom line in exchange for leaving a healthier planet so that future generations can reap those benefits. This film showed me that one of the major challenges companies face is how to reverse, and then improve, the negative impact they have been exerting on our natural resources, on our environment, and on the communities they serve. Although there are many different methods available for them to effectively accomplish these objectives, there remain many organizations that purposely circumvent their obligations to protect and enhance the environment. It appears that some corporations continue to ignore these important issues for the sake of maximizing corporate and stockholders' revenue. It is up to us-- the consumers-- to make every effort to patronize brands, companies, and products that combine high ethically standards to the way they operate their day to day operations. I highly recommend this film to anyone who wants to make a positive contribution on the environment and to build a brighter and better tomorrow.
