Trivia

There was suppose to be a Pinocchio world added to the game but due to time restrictions, it was recycled & put into Kingdom Hearts 3D. Some of the sprites of the characters are still in the game's code with Pinocchio as a human,Gepetto, Honest John, & Gideon. Tetsuya Nomura explained that the planned plot for the world was, "Set in a circus and playing off the story of Pinocchio, a puppet with a heart, and the Nobodies who possess no heart." He planned for a sad episode with Roxas and Xion looking for hope for themselves. See more »

Quotes

[Roxas and Xaldin arrive in Beast's Castle]
Xaldin: Hmph, still as dark and empty as ever. It's practically a cave. A fitting home for a beast.
Roxas: The castle's master?
Xaldin: You've seen him haven't you? Every inch a monster.
Roxas: So you've done a little exploring here on your own, then.
Xaldin: Yes... I suspect it was some kind of spell that left him in that state.
Roxas: A spell?
Xaldin: The data we've collected suggests he was human, originally. The exact sequence of events is unclear, but it was a spell that forced him to live as that.....

Slow beginning, but it gets better!!
14 December 2009 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I really gotta say that this is probably the best graphics I've ever seen for a Nintendo DS game. Almost as good as what you would see from a Playstation 2 game. This game helped me understand more about Roxas, Axel and the other members of the Organisation since I've never played Chain of Memories (and i'll be honest I was only interested in getting a DS ever since I saw this game). Although this game has quite a slow beginning and things may be boring at first, they begin getting more fun and unexpected things begin to happen! If you just keep on playing it just as I did, you will without a doubt start to enjoy it much later. I cant really say much for the characters only with the fact that I'm not sure if Axel is my favourite one anymore. If you'd like to know why, well you're just gonna have to play it yourself. It's definitely a game worth playing if you are a Kingdom hearts fan.
