THE HAUNTING of PEARSON PLACE, In hopes of rebuilding their once-storybook marriage, Gwen and Steven (a young, attractive and successful couple) purchase a vacant Victorian house in a small town, intent on rebuilding the once beautiful house along with their marriage. The house at Pearson Place was once used as a hospice for returning soldiers from World War I. The now long-dead veterans were expecting kindness upon arrival at Pearson Place only to find that the war was Heaven compared to the house which is truly Hell. Our modern day couple intend to use the house as a B&B but - Pearson Place and its previous tenants have their own ideas. Written by
This movie was not a blood bath, or overtly violent. And thats a GREAT thing!
As a woman it's nice to see a film that takes womens points of views into mind. It was beautifully shot, well directed and the acting was superb. It had something known as dialogue...yes actual words were spoken and a story being told. Not just a bunch of naked girls running about covered in blood, and overly moronic characters.
The haunting of Pearson Place It is a totally engaging story and asks that the viewer think. When was the last time you were asked to do that? And its entertaining...the best of both worlds, with humor to match...
I loved it, its a BEAUTIFUL HORROR.
