Alice White, a Parker alias, is drawn as jury member in the case of Ernesto Vargas's family suing William Quint's nutritional supplements company. Nate makes the rogue go, hoping she'll finally learn some social skills. The team soon realizes the defense uses means, including top-notch surveillance and bribery, far beyond such a small claim and works out that's th doing of Ms. Tobey Earnshaw, whose conglomerate has big plans with Quint's firm which it can only buy if it avoids a scandal. The mark Ms. Earnshaw (Lauren Holly), is purported to be a skilled chess player. However, in one scene she is seen moving a pawn diagonally, from one black square to another, without taking a piece, something pawns, by the rules, cannot do. However, Ms. Earnshaw demonstrates throughout the entire job that she never plays by the rules. Since she cheats in everything else, it's reasonable to assume that she cheats at chess. See more »
