CBC Announces 2014-2015 Pickups And Renewals

6 April 2014 7:08 AM, PDT | AreYouScreening.com | See recent AreYouScreening news »

With the season coming to a close on CBC darling, Murdoch Mysteries, and new hitting recently that Cracked and Arctic Air will not be returning, CBC has announced several renewals, and a few new shows.

Murdoch Mysteries and Dragon’s Den are the clear no-brainers of the situation, but we’ve got a full list, plus some pretty hot new efforts.

Schitt’s Creek will be coming your way, a show co-created by Eugene Levy and Dan Levy, who star with Catherine O’Hara, and that ought to be all you need to know about this one. Also added to the schedule is new show Strange Empire. Reportedly a very dark show, it takes place in western frontier town and follows the women who find themselves stranded when all the men suddenly disappear.

Get all the info below, and make sure your favorites are on the list.
