It starts very well.

Journalist Catherine Heathcote is examining a case almost fifty years old, the disappearance of thirteen year old schoolgirl Alison Carter back in 1963.

It's a really fine start to this three part drama, I love the way it tells the story, it's very engaging, and full of intrigue.

You are made to wonder what exactly did happen to Alison, although we're not given masses of information, and you're also left to imagine what can of worms Catherine is going to open.

It's beautifully made, especially the sixties segments, those look spectacular, the clothes and sets look amazing. Check out those cars used.

A very good start, 8/10.
