Storyline
Horatio investigates the fatal stabbing of Chelsea, the 16 year-old daughter of Dr. Rachel Marsh, a rich psychiatrist who treats both frustrated kids and people in court-ordered therapy, as well as Eric. Although Rachel conducts professional confidentiality in her business, various patients make the suspect list for Chelsea's death, including Chelsea's lovers and drug dealing clients. Patient files were stolen. Eddie Dashell's fingerprint is found but he has an alibi - he was with his son. Only his ex had the opportunity to set him up. Then Rachel is fatally shot. Her teenage son, Justin Marsh, who didn't think of his house as a 'home' as his mother devoted all her time to her patients, is found washing blood from a gun. The case takes another weird twist. I'm not going to discuss the whole episode, just the part that I know will lead to more drama in the season, which is also my least favorite part. when Delko & Calleigh were going through the patient files and Calleigh read Delko's notes, you knew something interesting would show up. Delko's reflections on life after getting shot came as a bit of a shock to Calleigh but not to the audience. Delko told his therapist he was serious now about settling down and taking it easy and wished that it could possibly be with Calleigh. Just the prospect of the two of them together in any way makes me cringe. Even though he wants to change his life, a former player like Delko doesn't deserve Calleigh. Before IA found out about their relationship and he went undercover, I loved Calleigh and Jake Berkeley as a couple. Why did the writers have to end that?
