Horatio investigates the fatal stabbing of Chelsea, the 16 year-old daughter of Dr. Rachel Marsh, a rich psychiatrist who treats both frustrated kids and people in court-ordered therapy, as well as Eric. Although Rachel conducts professional confidentiality in her business, various patients make the suspect list for Chelsea's death, including Chelsea's lovers and drug dealing clients. Patient files were stolen. Eddie Dashell's fingerprint is found but he has an alibi - he was with his son. Only his ex had the opportunity to set him up. Then Rachel is fatally shot. Her teenage son, Justin Marsh, who didn't think of his house as a 'home' as his mother devoted all her time to her patients, is found washing blood from his hands. The case takes another weird twist. Did You Know?

As a patient and potential suspect, Delko should not have been allowed to investigate the daughter's murder, as his fingerprints, hair and other DNA would have been found around the crime scene. See more »

Shrink-Wrapped Several Times
23 June 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Am attractive female "shrink" interviewing patients, almost all of whom are ex-cons, in the privacy of her home? That sounds a little risky, doesn't it?

It turns out to be a lot more than that has both she and her daughter are stabbed to different times by different people!! Yup, that's the bizarre story in this episode which has a personal twist to it since Eric had been going to see this lady, too. The woman is "Dr. Rachel Marsh,." played by Gail O'Grady, who doesn't look like the picture you see here at IMDb. By now Gail is about 50 years of age and still good-looking, but not like this much-younger picture.

Anyway, "who did what" is pretty interesting in the story and the suspects are fairly numerous.

Note: Near the end of the episode when Eric and Calleigh are going through the psychologist's notes (which has legal implications), Calleigh finds out Eric has a fantasy about settling down with her. I'm sure there will be more to come regarding this workforce-possible-romance.
