According to Marge, Maggie says her first words which are in Ogdenese. Maggie says "Ja, Ja" (pronounced Ya, Ya). The actress/actor who voices her words are uncredited.

In the intro, when spoofing Cheers, Sideshow Bob walks in, forcing the family to flee. This is a reference to Kelsey Grammer (who voices Sideshow Bob) playing the character Dr. Frasier Crane on Cheers (1982).
