The gang kidnaps the writer of a review claiming that Paddy's is the worst bar in Philadelphia and tries to force him to change his mind. But things get worse when Dennis and Dee accidentally kidnap the writer's neighbor.

The gang was singing a capella to the song, "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," which was originally performed by G.C. Cameron. It is from the 1975 film, Cooley High. Philadelphia natives Boyz II Men would later record an a capella cover of the song for their 1991 debut album, Cooleyhighharmony. See more
While the write is kidnapped, and forced to write a new review of Paddy's Pub in the back office, we can see a shadowbox on the wall with military decorations in it. The decorations are United States Marine Corps shooting badges (pistol sharpshooter and pistol expert badges) but the flag is a United States Navy flag. See more
