Storyline

Eliot Spencer's ex's father is blamed for the fire in his stable. The team agree to make Nathan's former boss Jim Sterling's insurance pay 'their way' so he can hold on to Kentacky Thunder, the only survivor of nine thoroughbreds. So they pose as horse trade players to play a sting on New York financial investors' agent Alan Foss. Written by KGF Vissers

Trivia

Nate (Timothy Hutton) wins a poker game in order to get a mark on the hook. This is similar to The Sting (1973) where Gondorff (Paul Newman) wins a poker game to also get a mark on the hook. Both times the final hand was four Jacks winning over four nines and the winning hand was gotten through cheating. See more »

Quotes

Sophie Devereaux: I don't know what comes of chasing the past, you know, Elliot?
Eliot Spencer: Well, Sophie, sweetie, I don't think you and Nate get to serve me that particular meal.
Sophie Devereaux: Ouch.
