Storyline

The Air Force has been conducting aerial maneuvers which has caused some problems for Buck because of the noise, he who complains. The Air Force sends a Colonel Andy Carson to discuss the issue with him. Carson's rushed attitude of giving Buck the needed paperwork then leaving changes when he gets sight of Doris. He does whatever he can to get in Doris' good favors, which Doris can see right through. Carson's colleagues know all about Doris's reputation as being a loner, so womanizing Carson bets them that he will be the person to buck the trend by being able to get a specific romantic date with her. Although Doris' initial reaction to Carson is that he is a nice enough man, she may have a different opinion about him and take what she considers appropriate action if she finds out about the bet.
