Storyline

When Grace Langdon undertook her trip of mingled adventure and pleasure to Mexico, she was unaware of the dangers that break out sporadically in that disturbed land. She and her party, however, had not been amongst the dons long before there was trouble between the Mexicans and the few Americans there. The situation was complicated by the fact that the chief of the Mexican revolutionaries fell in love with Grace. The United States consul was a friend of the girl and sought to obtain outside assistance by telegraph. In this he was frustrated by the revolutionary leader, who shot him in the leg as he was operating the telegraph wires. The result was that Grace and her friends were captured by the revolutionaries and taken aboard a Mexican gunboat. But Grace had not neglected her fiancé in San Francisco; she had wired to him. So down came the gallant fellow with all speed and as luck would have it his yacht arrived in the disturbed waters just when the plight of Grace and her friends was...
