Angelo surprises Charlie with a romantic moonlit beach picnic. Sensing her mind isn't focused, he presses her to make Roman make up his mind. Miles and Kirstie hesitate as to whether to make their relationship public, but Jai already regrets having created a monster. Bartlett obviously wants her to move out, and insists on giving her a neck massage in the office, stays late for a pointless redraft and a drink. Roman gathers his courage and wins Charlie back, with Angelo's generous blessing. Written by
Well, a slow burn storyline begins to come to fruition as Martin's behaviour towards Kirsty begins to cross the line. She certainly seems nervous in his presence and he seems keen to spread discord between her and her newfound family. It's interesting that Kirsty chooses Leah to confide in, given that she's also been less than supportive of her and Miles, and it might help sort out some differences. And we get to see VJ for the first time in ages.
Ruby continues to see herself as a relationship guru, advising Charlie and being very sisterly towards her. It's hard to fathom her motivation for lying to Roman-is she trying to get him to stay away from Charlie or trying to make him jealous? She seems to be feeling on the outside though, playing gooseberry with Annie and Jai before hanging around Miles.
Angelo is fast shaping up to be a quite lovable new addition. His behaviour with Charlie is very thoughtful and even noble as he ends up spending their date helping her sort out her feelings for Roman.Let's hope they continue to write him this well.
