In the opening monologue, Red tells several jokes about animals. Seagulls Gertrude and Heathcliffe are on hand for a gag. The monologue ends with Red pantomiming an escaped prisoner and the bloodhound tracking him. The title of the Silent Spot is "Clumsy Stock Boy in Teddy Bear Factory" with Skelton miming a stock boy creating chaos at an assembly line in a teddy bear company.
