On the surface of things, Calum and Lucy are just good friends - pals from work who get on well, simple as that. Deep down however, both secretly suspect they could be so much more - if only one of them would just pluck up the courage and be honest with the other, things would be perfect! But before they have chance to find out how perfect things might be, an awkward drunken kiss and a serious traffic accident thrust them both into a strange limbo landscape constructed entirely from their own memories. As they're thrown through time like ping-pong balls and forced to re-tread the key moments in the course of their relationship so far, they finally begin to understand their true feelings for each other. But just as they begin to lose their inhibitions and open up, the real world and its consequences begin to return, reminding Calum and Lucy of their kiss and the accident, and forcing them to realise their looming fate.
