- Vince's old friend, Dom, calls him for help. Turtle is reduced to being Drama's assistant. Ari squares off against Alan Gray over Vince's career.
- Ari squares off against Alan Gray in a golf game to get a role for Vince, only to have Alan continue to be his usual angry and vindictive self. Ari knows that Alan is an addictive gambler and Ari plans to let Alan win enough to let Ari bet Vince into the movie. Alan does everything to anger Ari. He gets Bob to join their round of golf (Bob Ryan (Martin Landau) is the guy who sold Allan the Ramones script, which Vince was interested in). Alan has also hired Phil Mickelson for the day to improve his game. Soon Ari is down 10 holes & $ 20,000. Bob suggests raising the stakes. Alan wants $50K per hole, but Ari asks for Vince in Smokejumpers as second lead. Alan wins again (after he gives Ari another shot after he misses the first shot at par) but is furious with Ari to bring up Vince when he explicitly told him not to. Alan has a heart attack right on the course & is rushed to the hospital. Alan Gray dies.
After causing a televised car chase, Dom (Domenick Lombardozzi) asks Vince to bail him out, but only Eric - who still doesn't trust Dom - can afford it. Dom pleads that he got nervous when a cop pulled him over (he was carrying his mother in law's weed (who has glaucoma) in the glove-box). Dom says he is married, has a 4-month-old girl and a limo business. Bail is $ 100,000. Only E has that kind of money in the current scenario. E agrees since Vince believes in Dom so much.
If Dom bolts, E loses his bail money, so E keeps Dom in his sights & even takes him to all his business meetings. E & Vince go to Dom's home where there is no child or wife. Vince tells Dom that E is suspicious that Dom will bolt again. Dom then finds that E posted the bail, not Vince. Soon enough, Dom's family, with the blind mother-in-law shows up, showing that Dom was telling the truth. Dom tells his wife the truth about his criminal past & she leaves him. Dom asks E to take him back to jail again, so that he can get his money back.
Desperate for a job, Turtle agrees to be Drama's personal assistant. Drama only pays $300 a day, when the going rate is $700/day. Vince promises to make up the difference when he lands a movie. But Drama drives Turtle crazy with his specific demands which Turtle finds extremely difficult to fulfill and comply. Turtle tries to make Drama happy by getting an extra into his trailer, who wants to have sex with Drama. But Drama is again angry as he thinks that's a sexual harassment lawsuit waiting to happen & he is in enough trouble with the network as it is. Then Turtle does everything that Drama had asked him to do. At the end of the day, Drama apologizes to Turtle for being hard on him. He wants to have Turtle continue, but Turtle quits & drives off with his car, leaving Drama behind alone.
