The much awaited biopic of India’s most successful cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, titled M.S Dhoni – The Untold Story is set to now release on the last Friday of September.
The film which was earlier to release on September 2nd, 2016, now has a new release date viz. 30th September 2016.
The makers of the film want to deliver the best quality of visual effects to movie going audiences and Msd fans as well as cricket fans across the world and that endeavour is the reason of the postponement.
Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios says, “It was a unanimous decision to release the film on September 30th, 2016. This would give the team some more time to present the film to the audiences in the best way. We, in no way wanted to compromise on the visual experience that Neeraj Pandey is set to create with this movie.”

Akshay Kumar-starring period drama, “Rustom,” directed by Tinu Suresh Desai is set to be the first movie produced by Plan C Studios, a joint venture between Reliance Entertainment and Shital Bhatia’s Friday Filmworks.

In March, last year it joined as a partner in Phantom Films, a production house backed by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena. That venture is managed by Phantom.
In recent months Reliance has been attached to international projects. In September production got under way on »

A spokesperson from the 'real' Neeraj Pandey »
