A movie starring Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Frances McDormand and Sacha Baron Cohen could get even the most casual movie fan excited. Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is exactly that, and yet I'd be lying if I said I was anticipating this one. The series follows a group of Central Park Zoo animals who were shipped back to their native continent and get into crazy adventures trying to find their way back to New York. In this installment, they're traversing Europe as incognito members of the circus. Directors Eric Darnell and Conrad Vernon present the third theatrical film in the animated franchise, in 3D, on June 8. Check out the trailer below. Thanks to Yahoo Movies for the trailer. Here's the official plot description: Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their »

The crazy animals of Madagascar have special place in my heart, and it’s easy to tell because I’m not clawing my eyes out at the prospect of a third film in the franchise, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, being rolled out to the masses.
Some ‘toons just don’t have a lot of mileage in them. Cars should have stopped after the first one and I really hope the day doesn’t come when The Incredibles 2 will be headed to a theater near you. I don’t even want another adventure with the grumpy, old guy in Up. They were all fine, funny, and entertaining but some sequels just are not meant to be. I’ll admit I thought Madagascar would fit in that category too but I thought the second film was almost as entertaining as the first one, and the trailer for Madagascar 3 »

If you want to see your favorite stars in performing in embarrassing costumes, you should set your DVR to record "Glee" every week.
If you want the same satisfaction with a whole lot less '80s rock, the "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" trailer is here to fulfill your wish.
The third installment of the hit animated franchise brings back Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman and Julian from the previous movies on a wild adventure that takes them from the wildlife preserve to the even wilder world of Monte Carlo in search of their penguin friends. The gang gets more than they bargained for when they find themselves pursued by the police as they try to hide in plain sight while making their way across Europe.

Our last adventure with Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe didn't see our zoo animal heroes return home to NYC, and now the crew seems to be getting into trouble on another continent in the teaser trailer for Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted which brings back Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith as the aforementioned wild animals. But this time Frances McDormand joins the action as a French law enforcement official in hot pursuit of our heroes and, of course, those wacky penguins and Sacha Baron Cohen as the lemur King Julien. Watch it! Here's the teaser trailer for Dwa's Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (via Yahoo! The first trailer for the third entry in the Madagascar franchise has been unveiled. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted finds the zoo-friendly characters on the lam in Europe, where they join a traveling circus. It looks as though they might be going the spy thriller route (uh-oh), with Ben Stiller's character doing his best Tom Cruise impression. There are a few cute scenes here, especially with the penguins and Sacha Baron Cohen's character, and kids are sure to eat this movie up, but there's really not much to convince your average adult moviegoer that this isn't a straight-to-dvd cartoon sequel. Noah Baumbach (Fantastic Mr. Fox) penned the screenplay, so hopefully the full film offers something for a more mature audience to enjoy as well. Hit the jump to check out the trailer. The film also features the voices of Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, »

When it comes to recent animated film franchises, I find the Madagascar films about as uninteresting as I do the Shrek films. Sure, the penguins are funny, the monkeys are good for a few laughs, but the overall stories are terrible. I truly disliked the first Madagascar film and admittedly found the sequel to be a vast improvement, but I have little desire to return to the franchise for Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, which hits theaters on June 8, 2012 and today we have our first look at the teaser trailer. Written by Noah Baumbach (Fantastic Mr. Fox) and once again featuring the voice work of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric The Entertainer and Andy Richter, Madagascar 3 follows Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo and Melman the Giraffe as they continue their struggle to get home to their »

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippopotamus, and Melman the Giraffe set out to return to New York after escaping to Africa. The first trailers for Ridley Scott's "Prometheus", the action sequel "G.I. Joe: The Retaliation", the Sacha Baron Cohen comedy "The Dictator" and the Jeremy Renner-led "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" should be hitting either cinema screens or online imminently.
While the MPAA doesn't make ratings classifications for trailers available freely through their website, various groups in other countries and territories outside the United States do. One such group is the Culture and Community Services department in the Canadian province of Alberta who handily include an official page for the dozen or so trailers for major theatrical releases it classifies every week.
Over the past 2-3 weeks they've added around thirty new trailers to the list. Since their inclusion more than half of them have come online including the first trailer for "The Cabin in the Woods"; the second trailers for "John Carter", "Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close," "The Grey, »

Unfortunately, Franco and del Toro have since had to exit the project, but word now comes via Variety that David Schwimmer is entering the foray in an unusually dark dramatic role for him.
The Iceman is based on a true story, adapted from Anthony Bruno’s book, The Iceman: The True Story of a Cold-Blooded Killer. Shannon is joined by the likes of the brilliant Maggie Gyllenhaal and Ray Liotta, and now Schwimmer too. Most recently seen in Machine Gun Preacher alongside Gerard Butler and Michelle Monaghan, and next leading Take Shelter (due out on 25th November), Shannon will star as,
“Richard Kuklinski, a family man by day and contract killer by night.

David Schwimmer and wife Zoe Buckman arrived at NYC's JFK airport yesterday with their 3-month-old daughter, Cleo. The trio made their way inside the international terminal, equipped with all their baby gear, ready to catch a flight headed out of town. While many of David's former Friends costars have been actively traveling around the globe, it's been a relatively low-key Summer for David and family since Cleo's birth in May. When we spoke with the dad-to-be in March, David wasn't sure if he was expecting a son or daughter, but he was excited about meeting the little one. David's taking a break from directing, but he's among the all-star list of celebrities lending their voices to Madagascar 3, due out next Summer. It's his third go-round as Melman, the big-hearted giraffe, and he has a brand-new fan in daughter Cleo. View Slideshow › »

Though David Schwimmer will forever be known as Ross from Friends (which is what happens when you are part of one of television.s most successful sitcoms), his fledgling directorial career so far is characterized by films that couldn.t be more different in tone and subject matter. He got his feet wet with the Simon Pegg comedy Run Fatboy Run before moving on to Trust, which discusses the dangers of Internet chat rooms. And it was during a Web chat on behalf of Trust that Schwimmer revealed what his next project might be. During a revealing conversation with Empire, where he updated fans on the status of Madagascar 3 (he has recorded his vocal parts) and confessed to his favorite sandwich (a medium-rare cheeseburger with mustard, tomato, lettuce and onion), Schwimmer said that he.s optioned the rights to an adaptation of Upton Sinclair.s epic turn-of-the-century novel The Jungle. »

If you had any doubt that Hollywood was reliant on big movie franchises, let them be eradicated right about now...
As has long been the case, sequels are a reliable way of making plenty of cash from recognisable names. They've been a part of the Hollywood filmmaking process for decades, and as this list of 95 sequels currently in the works proves, will continue to be so for as long as we stump up the cash to go and see them.
We've been doing this list annually for a couple of years now, and this year's collection is, perhaps unsurprising, the longest round-up of upcoming sequels that we've done. Still, given that there are nearly a hundred sequels listed below, we're a little sad to see that Hollywood's people in suits couldn't find room for a belated return to Mac And Me...
Here's what you've got to look forward to...
