Check Brights takes a late night neo noir drive through the dark, smokey mind of 'The Driver' - a highly irritable man who doesn't take kindly to rude motorists who don't respect the rules of the road. Written by
The director, Barry Levy, was hit by a street racer back in 2001. The car left the scene of the accident, the cops didn't really pursue it, and the insurance company took the street racer's side. It was then that Levy was left thinking about possible ideas for revenge. Because he would never take the law into his own hands, he was drawn to Jason Young's script for Check Brights. It helped to channel a lot of Levy's feelings about being left injured at the side of the road, and he set to work on getting it shot. Plans are in the works for a full feature length version to be shot on California's Pacific Coast Highway. See more »

I saw this movie at a festival in Berkeley, California and it was amazing! It really made me think about how much we take our manners for granted on the road.
Dark, moody, and super cool music from Crystal Method. The editing was very effective and the actor playing the driver had the right mix of evil, good looks, and threat. Does anyone know what kind of car he was driving? It was pretty rad. I would like to see this as full movie.
Great idea to have some bad ass driving around knocking off all the people driving around like butt heads.
