It is a peculiar sort of a plot

This two-reel picture drama is written by Romaine Fielding who directs and plays the leading part, the title role. He is ably supported by Joseph Sedgwick. It is a story of two brothers, the other brother being Mansfield Ardis. It is a peculiar sort of a plot and contains scenes which do not seem entirely germane to the continuity of the story. However, it is interesting and depicts a lesson of sacrifice and unselfishness, but it all ends in a sort of a sentimental way that lacks conviction. - The Moving Picture World, September 5, 1914
