A Must See Film om Elvis' early days
14 August 2008 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

There are hundreds of documentary films on the life and career of Elvis Presley, but this is in a league of it's own as it traces the early life of the music icon as he grew up in dirt poor conditions in Tupelo Mississippi.

It takes the viewer on a journey from his birth on January 8th 1935 through to his triumphant return home in September 1956 for 2 open air concerts in his home town.

If you have even a passing interest in the life of Elvis Presley then this is a MUST SEE DVD. Director Michael Rose was also featured on internet based Elvis Express Radio (www.elvis-express.com) in August 2008 talking about the making of the documentary.
