Best episode in of Season 5 so far...
3 December 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Let me just say I love House M.D. but this seasons been lacking what was so great about the first 3 seasons. I think the writers have been so busy getting everything straightened out from the previous season that they've forgotten why the viewers tune in. For diagnostic magic! This episode had the qualities that the first season had, bouncing ideas off other team members and explaining their flaws. Now I know that's what they do in every episode but House really seemed to care this time while the other team members acted like they we're actually trying. Plus the obvious strain on him trying to balance the Cuddy situation and while still being a good doctor was a nice reminder of season two when he was getting back together with his ex Stacy. Of course I'm also very interested in House and Cuddy getting together and any sign of that becoming a possibility like in this episode is good news to me. I'm sick of waiting for what we all know is going to happen, or should happen. If the writers decide to hold back on it I'm going to be disappointed. However, I am aware that the longing and resisting makes for a better story then just letting them go at it. In conclusion, good episode, gives me hope for House.
