Man found dead in beer brewery vat
1 September 2015 | by See all my reviews

Graham an employee is found dead years ago in a factory that makes beer. He was in the brewing vat, a very deep large tub. The factory is owned and operated by Sir Felspar and his son Julian. Graham was very good at his job.

This story was interesting but hard to understand if you don't know whats involved in making good beer and the competition against other companies.

Sandra the boss is trying to get her mother settled and wants a better relationship with her. Sandra heard that her father a cop now dead killed a man without cause. Sandra wants to find out what happened. She finds out her father was cheating on her mother and was in love with a prostitute who had a child 4 years old. From her search and investigation her father did kill a man but he had cause to that was not brought out. The man he killed was trying to strangle the 4 year old son of the prostitute who was hiding behind a curtain.

The story was good but there are so many character it is hard to remember who is who.

A funny part of the scene is Brian, Jack and Gerry go to the brewery while Jack talks with the owner inside Gerry and Brian sneak in and steal bottles of beer from different years. The were told that one of the years something was done to the beer that no one liked. They take the beer back to the office and start comparing it and in the mean time are getting drunk. They keep opening the bottles and saluting each other and the bottle from 1998 is the one that taste nasty. The are drunk and acting silly.

Brian is still in the brewery locked in and getting sick from the smell that makes him pass out.

It seems part of the plot has to do with genetically modified barley which is illegal to use for beer in England.

Lots of stuff going on. As an aside there are 7 actors that have blue eyes. Sandra, her mother, Jack, Brian, Gerry, Julian and Jacinta. There probably are more but I wanted to see the episode and I was getting distracted. I thought this was a lot of blue eyed characters in one episode.
