For detailed information about the amounts and types of (a) sex and nudity, (b) violence and gore, (c) profanity, (d) alcohol, drugs, and smoking, and (e) frightening and intense scenes in this movie, consult the IMDb Parents Guide for this movie. The Parents Guide for A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas can be found here.

When ex stoner buddies—Wall Street investment banker Harold Lee (John Cho) and med school dropout Kumar Patel (Kal Penn)—meet up again after six years of going their own ways, they are forced to join forces in order to look for a Christmas tree to replace the prized tree given to Harold by wife Maria Quesa Dilla's (Paula Garcés) formidable father Carlos (Danny Trejo) after it is destroyed in a fire set by a giant marijuana joint. It being Christmas eve, it's going to be hard to find the perfect tree. But it being Harold and Kumar, it won't be hard for trouble to find them.

A Very Harold & Kuman 3D Christmas is the third movie in the Harold & Kumar series, preceded by Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008). The screenplay, like that of the two preceding movies, was written by co-directors Jon Hurwitz and Kayden Schlossberg.

Yes. In this film, it explains that he went to heaven but Jesus got his dad to send him back to Earth for stealing his women.

Treeless, Harold returns home to find his father-in-law waiting up for him. "Where's the tree?" Mr Perez grumbles. "You ruined Christmas!" Obviously piqued, Harold details what he went through in order to replace the burned tree in order to give the family a perfect Christmas and demands that he be shown some respect. Mr Perez does a 180 and congratulates Harold for showing some cojones. Meanwhile, Kumar crawls through Vanessa's (Danneel Ackles) bedroom window and vows that he will take the test for his medical license and give up smoking weed for her and their baby. Vanessa capitulates, assuring Kumar that he can continue to smoke weed but warning him that he needs to use her pee for the next drug test. The following scenes are a montage of Maria happily announcing that she is pregnant, Harold and his father-in-law watching TV together, and Vanessa and Kumar eating Wafflebot waffles at Harold's party. The final scene shows Harold and Kumar sharing a joint on the front porch while Santa and the reindeer streak across the sky as Santa smokes his bong.

After the credits you see Neil Patrick Harris stand up and walk away.

The extended cut, which has been released as a Blu-ray disc exclusive, features 1 additional and 12 extended scenes for a total of more than six and a half minutes of new footage. Besides some extended dialogues one can also find some more nudity and violence and some more jokes about religion and politics. A detailed comparison between both versions with pictures can be found here.
