Animated Movie Theories That Were Debunked By Writers

Disney movies have been watched so many times over the years viewers have nothing else to do but analyze every plot point, Easter Egg, and little moment. This has resulted in numerous film theories and some crazy film connections for animated movies like Toy Story, Aladdin, Rugrats, Hercules, and The Little Mermaid. As theories pick up steam, people start to believe them and call them credible. The only way to confirm them is to go directly to the source and in this case, it’s the animated movie writers. Multiple writers have debunked popular Disney and other animated movie theories. Their explanations can showcase exactly what happened, or in some cases leave things really vague.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson wanders into trap in new 'Hercules' trailer -- Video
“Look at me,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson orders in the new Hercules trailer. (Okay!) “Do I look afraid?” Despite encountering a trap full of angry, tattooed warriors, no; no, he does not look afraid.

Hercules, based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars, is directed by Brett Ratner and intended to be a dark, action-packed account of Hercules’s battle to take down a warlord. So basically, this will be nothing like Disney’s version (bummer).

Johnson plays the fearless Hercules with Ian McShane, John Hurt, Joseph Fiennes, and Ingrid Bolsø Berdal also starring. Hercules is expected to hit theaters in July.

Kellan Lutz Beats Dwayne Johnson to the Punch as First 'Hercules' to Hit Theaters

Kellan Lutz Beats Dwayne Johnson to the Punch as First 'Hercules' to Hit Theaters
Could timing be everything for dueling movies about the muscle-bound god?

Hollywood's upcoming battle of the Hercules -- to mix warrior legends for a moment -- is a decidedly David versus Goliath affair.

Now comes news that the slighter of these two muscle-bound screen gods (in budget, at least) might have a crucial advantage, as Summit has acquired Hercules: The Legend Begins and slated it for a February release.

The underdog stars Twilight beefcake Kellan Lutz and was directed by Renny Harlin, who hasn't had a hit since the 1990s when he peaked with action hits like Die Hard 2 and The Long Kiss Goodnight. It stands in the immense shadow of Hercules: The Thracian Wars, a graphic novel adaptation from director Brett Ratner starring proven box office superstar Dwayne Johnson, for which MGM and Paramount are sharing a $100 million-plus price tag.

Dwayne Johnson reveals his furry 'Hercules' look and 'Fast & Furious 7' shot
Two brand new photos reveal the two sides of Dwayne Johnson. One finds him wearing a tight shirt with a bald head, while the other finds him wearing no shirt with a lion on his head.  The Rock tweeted a two-for-one photo from a pair of upcoming films, "Hercules: The Thracian Wars" and "Fast & Furious 7." They will make you feel less manly.  It's the first good look we've had of Johnson as the Mythological man-god Hercules, and he certainly looks the part as he guides a chariot while decked out in a headdress made from a lion. Meanwhile, the...

[Dwayne Johnson] Selling Time: Will Smith is unofficially attached to star in Selling Time, a supernatural thriller about a man who gives up seven years of his expected life span so he can "relive the worst day of his life." We'll hazard a guess that he'll try and "fix" whatever it was that it made it such a bad day in the first place, with unexpected consequences. The original writer, Dan McDermott, has been brought back on the project for a...

Dwayne Johnson previews another Hercules image
Dwayne Johnson has unveiled another new image from the set of Hercules: The Thracian Wars online, giving us a good look at the leading man in character. The new image shows Johnson in rough and rushed mode, sporting a full beard and a rather fetching lionskin fleece. Fortunately for him, such an opportunity soon presents...

First Full Look at Dwayne Johnson as Hercules

Dwyane Johnson has released a new photo of himself as Hercules, giving us our first real look at the character in  Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Everything that's been released up until this point has been very teasing. I'll admit that he looks like a badass in the photo, but it doesn't change the fact that Brett Ratner directed the movie. The image came with the following caption:

"Intense 6 months of Hercules to now Hobbs (Fast & Furious). Shooting starts now."

The movie also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Aksel Hennie, Reece Ritchie, and Tobias Santelmann. It's set to be released on July 25th, 2014. What do you think of Johnson's look?

Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has, in the film, become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and

The Rock Wears A Lion Pelt And Destroys A Car In Two New Set Photos

Which Rock do you like the best-- the one driving a chariot into certain battle on the set of Hercules: The Thracian Wars, or the one standing in front of the wreck of a car he probably tore apart with his bare hands on the set of Fast & Furious 7. It's a trick question, of course. Picking your favorite Rock is like picking a favorite ice cream flavor-- it varies based on the day and your mood, and what variety of ass-kicking you want to see handed to which variety of villain. As unlikely as it is that a Samoan ex-wrestler has become the most all-purpose movie star on the planet, it's true-- so long as there's an opportunity for him to throw a punch or at least flex a muscle, The Rock is pretty much a one-size-fits-all proposition. And because nearly everything he's done in the last few years has

First Look At Dwayne Johnson In ‘Fast & Furious 7′ & His Bearded ‘Hercules’

Dwayne Johnson continues to tease and please his fan base by posting updates and stills from his projects. Over the last few months he’s regularly tweeted set stills from Brett Ratner’s epic swords n’ sandals reboot Hercules: The Thracian Wars. However, he’s constantly kept his face hidden. Not anymore as we have a look at the possible reason for this. His mythic Greek god will be bearded!

Alongside that image he’s also given us the first look of his returning Agent Luke Hobbs in James Wan‘s currently-shooting Fast & Furious 7. Johnson joins the familiar list of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson in the action ensemble sequel which will mark his third in the series.

First Images of Dwayne Johnson in Fast & Furious 7 and Hercules: The Thracian Wars

Dwayne Johnson's movies seem to do well when he's part of an ensemble (Fast & Furious movies, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and less well when it's all on him (Snitch, Faster). Either way, he's still a charismatic presence, and we'll see him in both kinds of films next year with James Wan's Fast & Furious 7 and Brett Ratner's Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Plot details on Fast 7 are being kept under wraps beyond the gang squaring off against a new villain played by Jason Statham. As for Hercules, the movie is billed as “a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist.” Johnson has been tweeting out set photos from Hercules, but now he's given us our first good look at him in the movie. Also, as a sweetener, he's tweeted out the first image of Hobbes in Fast 7. Or maybe I
