After Clark reads Jimmy's vows in Lois's presence, he mentions how romantic Jimmy's vows are. Lois replies that "he's a regular Cyrano". This is a reference to Cyrano de Bergerac, the romantic, big-nosed poet who is in love with a woman name Roxane. But instead of going after her himself (due to the size of his nose), he feeds lines to a more handsome, but less articulate friend. See more
