Very interesting

Personally I enjoyed all eight episodes and would love to see more I feel it was very much driven by occult however this shows people who believe and practice rituals in there own comforts. I understand people expect something particular from a forensic archeologist however history shows many different carvings using sigils, glyphs or runes which generally ties in with the occult. Furthermore from what I seen Don isn't afraid to call something fabricated and the people he interviewed are just that they are people willing to share there cultures and beliefs not the scientific criticism and even Don shows skepticism when he investigates these topics. I have shared this series with several friends of whom agree it is a very interesting series

Really disappointing....

I've always enjoyed shows with Don Wildman. I've always felt he was generally telling us the truth and showing us factual, interesting places from around the world. This is not that kind of show. The entire series is utter nonsense trying to capture (I guess) the supernatural craze that is overtaking TRVL channel. This show isn't even well done. It's surprisingly bad.

Just the worst show.

I dont usually mind Don Wildman but this is so bad I had to turn it off half way through. It started good but then he decided to either go vampire hunting with a bunch of locals which was a joke, then on another episode he entertained a witches coven to do some weird things. I am sorry, stick to the truth and not entertain a bunch of locals who think they are actual vampire hunters who think they have powers of the undead, it was laughable. Looks like Don will do anything for money these days. I will be surprised if this does not kill his career.

Reminds me of the worst from cable TV

Do you know those 'documentaries' full of useless drama and fake tension with countless breaks for commercials, where the protagonist creates a mysterious atmosphere only to never find anything of interest at the end of his quest? That's this program. Avoid it and watch another thing. 2 stars because some people had to work in order to do this.

Ridiculous superstition and pseudoscience
david-344422 July 2020
I love Don Wildman. His shows have always been fascinating, exploring buried cities or places the public isn't usually allowed to visit. This show, though, is just full of garbage.

I guess the Travel Channel wants more "ghost hunting" and "supernatural" content, since this show is about looking for supernatural entities or visiting "cursed" places. There is nothing scientific or even vaguely skeptical here; this show is all about presenting these fictions and myths as fact. Con artists and delusional people are presented as experts and allowed to spew idiotic nonsense, providing no evidence for anything they say.

If Mr. Wildman were investigating these places and phenomena with actual scientists who were testing claims and looking for actual evidence of the supernatural, the show might be interesting. As it is, though, it's just a show about mind-numbingly asinine stories and adults who have the intellectual development of toddlers. If you're going to make a remarkable claim, you need remarkable evidence to back it up, otherwise you're just an adult who believes the Tooth Fairy is real.

I really wish I could like this show, because Don Wildman is a great and genuinely kind person who is always interesting to watch. This show is just so bad that even Don Wildman can't make it watchable.

Stay in your lane, Don.

Don Wildman does much better as a narrator and presenter than as an active participant. He's great in Mysteries of the Museum or Beyond the unknown or what ever it's called now. The wackadoodles and lunkheads he's interviewing in person have him so totally sucked in and wrapped around their little fingers it is just sad. He acts like gullible child. This show is just insulting.

Dramatic

I watched the episode on voodoo. First of all, he kept talking during the ritual. That was super annoying. He also over dramatize the episode. It was bad.
