Nicolas' father fantasizes having multiple attractive secretatries wait on him.

Violence & Gore

A short spanking is heard behind a door.

In what may or may not be a fantasy, a gangster walks out of prison and is shot dead by people in a passing car. No blood is shown.

A teacher makes her students behave with the threat of a switch, which she cracks demonstratively.

A boy imagines being a pirate and whipping his classmates with a cat-o'-nines.

A boy is beat up by his classmates multiple times.

In imitation of his father, Nicolas uses a moderately vulgar word to describe a toy. It is translated as "bitch". Other subtitles in English translate it as "god awful."

Nicolas' mother drinks too much wine and champagne at her dinner party and passes out.

Nicolas' father pretends to smoke a pepper grinder like a cigar.

The boys mix a potion that appears to contain, among many unsavory things, several kinds of alcohol.
