I thought this episode had some real ups and downs. I found the domino effect somewhat interesting, somewhat disappointing. Half the time I thought it sounded like the residents were trying to talk the donors out of donating. I thought it was a little boring that it was focused solely on the kidney transplants and that there were no patients who had been in bizarre accidents. At least there was the one scene that was partially humorous partially dead serious when Meredith is bringing the good kidney over and drops it on the floor, with Bailey yelling "5 second rule". I thought it was very humorous when Meredith was in the bar at the end and Derek comes in and gives her the dead kidney. I thought the biggest disappointment was very soon after when Christina goes to leave the bar and the military doctor shows up. Personally, the military doctor was the only thing that really bugged me about the season premiere. Having the military doctor as regular character on the show will potentially take the show much further downhill than when the guy who played Preston was fired. With the way this episode ended, I may potentially stop watching the show.
