Trivia

The very end of this episode, Derek gets a call from Addison which is a lead-in to a full crossover in the next episode (Before and After), where the Private Practice cast comes to Seattle Grace to receive treatment for Addison's brother. The Before and After episode is the first crossover episode where Private Practice comes to Grey's Anatomy instead of Grey's Anatomy going to Private Practice as was done in all the previous crossover events, specifically season 2, episode 15 which was entitled Acceptance. great director
7 February 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I absolutely loved this episode. The director out-did herself; the music was great, the camera shots in slow motion made much more interesting the story.

After the lousy episodes they had been transmitting I had been debating with my friends whether to keep watching the show or find something else to watch on Thursday's nights, but after last nights episode I got engaged to the story again.

I wish the director would come back soon. I hated Issi's affair with Denny coming back from the death, I imagined in the end she would have some kind of brain tumor to explain the ghost apparitions. If that is going to be the case Anne would be the perfect director for that story.
