Storyline

Periodic flashbacks to the past five years explain some of the missing pieces that were left unanswered. Driven by his hidden and twisted agenda, Dave convinces Susan to throw Mrs. Karen McCluskey a surprise party for her 70th birthday. As everyone gets ready for the party, Jackson wants to take his relationship with Susan to the next level by moving in together. Susan flashes back to how she forced Mike to end their marriage, and how Jackson came into her life and who was turned on by her neurotic and unpredictable behavior. Gabrielle is concerned she might be pregnant, again. Gabby flashes back to how she became pregnant, twice, and only Carlos was happy about it. Tom tells Lynette he's sold the pizzeria as part of his plan to relive his youth by planning a cross-country road trip. Lynette flashes back to how an accident with Tom made him decide to live life as fully and recklessly as he could. Bree continues to have problems with unemployed Orson who wants to work for her catering ... Written by Anonymous

Mirror, Mirror contains a lot of flashbacks as the viewers are reminded the events of the housewives during that five year jump that happened when the fifth season started.A viewer may have mixed emotions upon seeing this considering that one may miss the previous characterizations of the housewives during its first four year run especially if they don't like the changes and transformations that has happened OR they may also feel nostalgic about the previous seasons of the show.Added to that,it also provides us a reminder of how the characters have changed as we progress into the fifth season.

In other events,we see Dave convince Susan to throw Mrs. McCluskey a surprise 70th birthday party. As for the ladies,we see Gabrielle feeling that she might be pregnant with a third child;Susan is feeling that Jackson wants to take their relationship to the next level;Lynette has been told by her husband that he sold the pizzeria; and Bree's bond with Katherine has been disclosed which led to Mrs McCluskey question her sanity. Ovearall, the present story lines were good enough to provide both drama and humor that the show is known for.
