Trivia

In the opening of season 5 we see Orson (Kyle Maclachlan) sing a Doors song whilst participating in karaoke at Scavos' pizzeria. Maclachlan had previously played Doors' keyboardist Ray Mazerack in the film 'The Doors' and the character of Orson would later play keyboards in Tom Scavo's garage band. See more »

Bring back the old Gabby!
6 March 2009 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I was totally shocked by episode 1 of season 5. I can understand that a lot can happen in five years, but where was the explanation?? A few seconds at the end of season 4 was really not adequate. I was also so confused by the intro to episode 1 of season 5 that I believed I had the wrong DVD! Gabby poor and penniless, married to Carlos who is blind with a PUG ugly fat daughter?? Surely not. Susan is now divorced from Mike and shacking up with some painter and decorator? The last I saw of Susan she was desperately happy with Mike and had just had a baby.

There is a large chunk missing that I hope will be explained with future episodes. For the time being, I am not so sure about this season.
