Guilt By Association Obscured by a Flame
1 November 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode gets back to the true roots of lawyer series as there is only one case here & it gets the full show to be presented. This format is like EG Marshalls series The Defenders in the 1960's as for once the Defendent is guilty but fakes their way to an innocent verdict.

Alan Shore is used here by his former love that he still loves. Shore is brilliant in how he pleads the case, much less adjusts his defense when he get surprised on the stand. Overall the drama here takes a front seat with the comedy in the back ground though there is enough humor to catch the viewer off guard and the humor is directly related to the shows actions. This is a very good episode.
