Character error

Miranda says that the Arabic word for "yes" is "haanji." It's actually "aiwa" or "na'am"; "haanji" is the Punjabi word for "yes."

Continuity

When Carrie is dressing up for the wedding, her hair-do changes from the hotel bedroom to the actual party. Considering that Carrie and Big have sex an hour before the wedding, it stands to reason that Carrie's hair would have to be re-done before the ceremony.
At the wedding, Carrie's corsage says "Carrie Preston." Stanford says the wedding planner insisted that couples use their married name. Later, they show the program, and she is listed as "Carrie Bradshaw".
In Sex and the City: The Real Me when Stanford asks Anthony if he is Italian, Anthony replies "No, I'm Sicilian." In this film, Anthony says Stanford allows him to cheat when they're married because he's Italian.

When Carrie has her meaningful discussion with Mr. Big in their apartment, she sits down in a chair and crosses her left leg over the right one. Uncrossing her legs, she throws a cushion onto an opposite chair. In the wide shot that follows, her legs are still crossed.

Factual errors

Carrie mentions her first day in New York was Tuesday, June 11, 1986. That day was a Wednesday.
According to The Carrie Diaries, the prequel to Sex and the City, Samantha is the first person Carrie meets in New York City. In this film, Charlotte is the first person Carrie meets in 1986.
When the ladies arrive in Abu Dhabi Airport, their bags are tagged for JFK, implying that their final destination is New York-JFK. The bags should have been tagged for AUH, Abu Dhabi.

Plot holes

The girls don't hold off on booking their trip to Abu Dhabi because they said if they waited a month, they'd "burn up." But the clock by Carrie's bedside in the hotel says "Aug 26," which would be right in the middle (or rather toward the end of) the hottest time of the year. Additionally, Miranda had just quit her job so she could go to Brady's science fair presentation at school. Even if it were a few weeks before, Brady wouldn't be in school in the summer. When the girls returned from Abu Dhabi, Samantha and Rikard celebrate the Fourth of July together.

Revealing mistakes

When Samantha hands her passport to the hotel manager in Abu Dhabi, it appears to have a picture of a man with short dark hair.
