Trivia:

Dr Horrible's Death Ray is in fact a prop from Joss Whedon's show "Firefly" (2002). It is an "alliance pulse rifle" that has been painted red and turned upside down and a "scope" attached to it.

Goofs:

Continuity: When changing into the red lab coat, Dr. Horrible seems to attach the shoulder by Velcro and there are no buttons. But in the next shot, the shoulder is buttoned.
