Some cool concepts failed by low budget.

Ghost hunter film where the hunters don't realize that they aren't the main focus. Standard elements exist for a haunted prison film, but the film adds an element of a "true" psychic and this ups the storyline from the its beginnings. Low production quality deteatchs as well as poor characters and some bad acting (especially of minor characters). Psychic character has elements around him that are a bit confusing, but overall the under the surface elements that are the actual point of the film helps raise thus above the trappings it has as a trite retread of a film.

Can't Even Get Through The Beginning

Can't even get to the halfway mark. Begins in Kansas in 1923. They had a couple of old cars out front of a diner, but took no effort on the small things. It's 1923 but everyone looks dressed in current styles and the killer looks like George Harrison from 1969. If you can't put in anymore effort than that, as far as just making the people look like they're from 1923, then I can't put effort into watching.
