Josh Scott goes to work, unsuspecting his wife Sarah was deadly serious about a domestic row and assumed that a few text messages on his phone mean he's having an adulterous affair with New York reporter Hannah. The team gets an alarm call after Sarah has tricked Hannah to the Scott home and holds her at knife-point. After Ed's mishap, Gregory has switched everybody's roles, with Sam as negotiator and Ed in the control vehicle. They workout with Josh and the baby-phone Hannah manages sneakily to turn on that Josh really remains committed to his marriage, which came under near-fatal stress because of unsuccessful IVF they couldn't afford and his dad's death. When he hears Hannah is the hostage, his old affair with her suddenly seems relevant. The team faces impossible choices, which further strains Sam's secret affair with colleague Jules.
