Trivia:
Charles Adler succeeds Chris Latta in two respects: he voices Cobra Commander in this series, and had voiced the Decepticon Starscream in Transformers (2007). Both Cobra Commander and Starscream were voiced by Latta in "G.I. Joe" (1985) and "The Transformers" (1984).See more »
Quotes:
Cobra Commander:And this is how I win the world. This juncture, of course, is usually where the wheels come off. But not this time! Cutting the traitor Major Bludd's heart in half right in front of you, right here in this room, should have gotten the point across. It suited me once to appear weak and cowardly, because it motivated you people to *think*. But today...See more »

Good show, 7 June 2009
Author: galliotte-1

I was reluctant at first to watch this show as I thought it was going to be purely Snake Eyes oriented while everybody else paled in comparison. After reading some of the comments (which were useful by the way), I decided to give it a try, and was very impressed as a fair bunch of the Joes had a part to play.

While some may have commented about the level of violence involved, do keep in mind that this is geared toward a mature audience. I used to watch GiJoe as a kid, and had no problem with nobody dying because again, it was for a younger audience. However, years have passed, and based on the show's targeted audience, I say it got my vote as the best revamp of GiJoe since the Sunbow version.

Battle scenes (A) - Animation (A) - Plot (A) - Length (B)

It is my hope that this becomes a regular series as it would be great. And if it does, then there should be more involvement from the remaining Joes.

My congratulations to the forces in play which made this possible.
