A terrifying film that offers a decidedly different take on the gruesome practice of cannibalism. Long Pig - A culinary term that refers to human beings, which according to documented reports, tastes much like pork. For more than 100 years, Halloween night has traditionally been the night that America's "cannibal elite" feast on Long Pig. These human predators are not some pack of in-bred, toothless, backwood hermits, nor are they deranged escaped psychopaths. They are the powerful, the wealthy, and the elite - CEOs, Senators, Congressmen, and Clergy. They feed upon those whom they deem will add to their power - beautiful young people in the prime of their virility. In secret they meet. In darkness they hunt. In blood they feed. 15 people will become their prey in the dark woods of the lake country. 15 people will fight to keep their own flesh from the teeth of those who would devour them. But, in the end, they might just all become Long Pig served on a platter. Written by Anonymous
Friends told me to take a view on this independent flick, so I did. But hell, it worked and it didn't work. To be honest, the whole movie is too long. It starts off pretty nasty, with some excellent editing and sound so I thought, this is going to be a hell of a ride. But it wasn't. Okay, I admit, there is nudity, there is blood, it's brutal but they made a fault. It wasn't gory...it's all done off camera, and the victims are full of blood but when they are slaughtered the blood doesn't flow, weird. After a while the movie turns into a story about love and sexuality. So we go to a party. Well some parties can be boring, and this one is, it's a long time about blah blah were nothing really happens, not for a horror movie. At the end it turns again into some brutal, sadly off screen torture. It was going to be an ode to Texas Chainsaw Massacre but failed, Oh yes, the cannibal is creepy as is the blond haired freak but as said, in between the torture scene's we have more than an hour nothing else then talking about relations. It could have been so much rougher.
