i just love this one. it's delightful and spirited. Geoff Dunbar ('Ubu Roi') is one of my favorite animators in hand drawn animation and this is some of the most lush and spectacular stuff in that genre.
not to mention i love Paul McCartney and his music here is enchanting and memorable. in fact it's kind of a blast. it's really musical and hummable. McCartney is also adorable as the voice of little Rupert. a challenge for a 40-something male.
with all the violence and inappropriate subject matter that is often in a lot of children's animation and more often than not, even in the classic stuff, this cartoon collection is more than suitable for all audiences.
if you have kids you shouldn't miss this. even if you don't have kids you shouldn't miss it.
