So, the quest for the arsonist goes on and by the end of the episode everyone knows it's Jay.Everyone apart from Steph, who's fallen for a guy she barely knows and is sticking her head in the sand. That's what you get for taking relationship advice from Libby.Interesting that it takes Nicola to point out the blindingly obvious evidence to Toadie. She is actually likable when the two of them are together and it's shaping up to be an interesting combination.Paul and Elle are also on the case but Jay's story about a fire in West Waratah is a bit odd.For a moment it seems to be significant, perhaps providing motivation, but then it turns out to be a pretty pointless lie.If the guy likes getting hailed as a hero, why was he afraid of publicity?
The casting department really need to do a better job of picking actors that compliment each other. After making us squint to tell Sweeney Young from Dean Geyer, they've now cast similar looking actresses as Nicola and Donna. And the ploy of welcoming someone back from a trip we've never heard of to explain why we haven't seen them for nearly two weeks is used for Zeke.Ah well...
