The start of my favourite season of HIMYM..., 30 October 2010
Author: WakenPayne from Valhalla

...And I mean EVER. HIMYM Season 4 is the season that hooked me into HIMYM more so than the others. I like this season because Stella leaves for good (I hate her), Ted goes back on track with his search for "The One", Barney falls in love with Robin, Ted does an archaetecture job that fails and leads to a College Professor job... definitely a great season.

The fade-ins and fade-outs to Season 3 and 4 were funny because at the end of Season 2 Barney says "it's gonna be le-gen... wait for it" and that's it and at the beginning of season 3 it starts with him saying "...dary legendary". Season 3 ends with Ted saying "will you marry me?" and it starts with the narrator saying "the longest pause a man will make in his life is when he says..." well you get the idea.

The Star Wars gimmick was hilarious it's his favourite movie yet Stella hasn't seen it Marshall blows it and Ted doesn't know what the problem is until he's seen it "It's just a movie... OK If Stella doesn't like this movie I won't marry her" makes me laugh.

Ted asks the question to Stella and then we discover the fact that he doesn't know her at all and he doesn't care until Ted cooks Dinner for Stella How Stella makes Ted realise he needs to know more about her goes something like this: Ted: can you guess what my secret ingredient is? Stella: Is it peanuts? Ted: Yes how did you know...? (Stella faints) Never before have I seen this many Character arc's in a season of TV except In Joss Whedon shows let me explain...If you look at this episode then my favourite episode "The Leap" you would say "These characters are not the same characters just played by the same people".

This is one great episode especially the text "Stop watching me you bastards" also cracks me up. This season is legen-wait for it-
