Storyline

Lacking domestic jurisdiction, CIA Agent Trent Kort calls Gibbs, claiming he found the shot corpses of an unknown (found to be Eric Killian) and his own mark, international crime baron Jonathan Siravo's man Albert Vogel. They apparently 'shot each-other' on an Anacostia construction site. Although Siravo sent nine Somalian pirates to steal US arms from the Borealis, they were eliminated, so he is unsure who is killing off his gang. Frightened, 'loose end' Perry arranges for Gibbs to meet right hand Victor Flores in exchange for protection. McGee and Abby discover the gang's chat room code trick. The killing continues. Goofs

At the initial shootout, Kort took the scorpion submachine gun from the dead guy, shot the other guy, then put it down without wiping it clean. Then he wiped his own gun, dropped it by the other dead guy and took his gun. He never cleaned the scorpion after he used it. See more »

Quotes

[as Kort tries to follow him and Gibbs into MTAC]
NCIS Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo: Oh, no. That visitor's badge only gets you in the lobby. It's not a backstage pass. Tell you what, what you can do is run downstairs to the gift shop, get yourself something nice, like a mug or a T-shirt or a personality.
