Storyline

Navy Commander Mike Taffet's wife Hillary finds a bloody gun in their preteen son Noah's room. It was used in a neighborhood murder years ago, returned by NCIS after the trial and used in at least one recent crime. The team painstakingly gets the boy and his buddies, Travis and Zane, to show how they got it, and what they know about the recent murder. But forensics and interrogations come up with additional plots and some links.

When the team find out the name of one of the suspects in the chain or the 'possessed gun' as Abby calls it. They find out it was owned by Eddie Felson and Tony states that its the same name as Paul Newman's character in the Hustler. He then quotes, "His hair was perfect," which is in fact a quote by Tom Cruise from The Color of Money.
