Storyline

US Navy Counterintelligence captain Thomas Jennings' seemingly uninterested daughter, Rebecca, and her remarkably caring ex-fiancé, Kevin Nelson, report that her father has been missing for 24 hours. Shortly after, sheriff Lee Chandler finds his body, asphyxiated by carbon monoxide and posthumously disemboweled, with a pentagram carved on his back. The captain made monthly trips off duty and was hacking a secret contact. The killer wasn't punishing Thomas but dissecting him. In the counterespionage lab, Dr. Rod Daniels reports a miniature hacking computer, small enough to swallow, went missing. The Buick is found, petty thief Brandon falls to his death from the roof next to it. A ring bizarrely ties both murders. Written by KGF Vissers
