Enjoyable entry in the series...POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD..., 1 February 2009
Author: Neil Doyle from U.S.A.

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Baffling murders, some sharp detective work, someone committing a crime that is traced to a worker who wanted to save the reputation of a clinic from being exposed as fraudulent--and SIMON BAKER as "The Mentalist" who devises a way to make the guilty party confess.

Well done mysteries benefit from good acting from the entire cast. Simon Baker makes an attractive lead as the man who admits to having been under a psychiatrist's care when he had a nervous breakdown. He exhibits the ability to see through other people's fears and weaknesses and Baker plays the role with dexterity and an ambiguous sort of charm.

Nicely produced series with good production values and intriguing story ideas.
