Storyline

Robin has been out of work for four months. Among her unopened fan mail from Metro News 1, she finds a notice of her work visa expiration in seven days unless she finds another job in her field. As she has not even come close to finding another job, she, feeling desperate, takes Barney up on his offer to prepare a video resume for her, despite his own video resume being meaningless and inane, it which includes him stating such made up words as "possimpible". Thinking the direction that Barney is going in with the video resume will yield nothing, Robin applies for anything. Meanwhile, Ted, Marshall and Lily argue about the meaningless items each sees in the others' resumes. And Marshall sustains a basketball slam dunking injury, which in common terms is called "dancer's hip". Marshall confesses to Lily how he really got the injury. Written by Huggo

Robin Scherbatsky: Tonight's lottery numbers are.
Director: Say the line before you press the button.
Producer: It builds the suspense.
Director: Yeah, it builds the suspense.
Robin Scherbatsky: Seventeen.
Producer: Stop her! Why did she say it like that? It's like she's not even happy about the number 17 coming up. She just seems mean.
Director: Yeah, she seems super mean. Try it again and be more wry.
Robin Scherbatsky: Wry? About the number 17.
Director: Wry, with a little bit of a...

Another Great Episode
31 December 2014 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Another great episode of "How I Met Your Mother" with Barney Stinson front and centre

Plot In A Paragraph: With Robin having no job, she gets a letter from the immigration office stating she has seven days to find a job in her chosen field or be deported, meanwhile Marhsall is suffering from something called dancers hip.

Barney's CV was comedy gold and the episode was a lot of fun in general. barneysvideoresume.com leads to an actual internet page featuring Barney's video.

Whenever Neil Patrick Harris is prominent in an episode it always makes the episode that bit better and raises the overall quality of the episode.
