Storyline

Chlorophorm-drugged and hanged Roger Lansing's corpse suddenly falls from the gazebo during the divorce party thrown by his son teenage Heath's mother Brianna and her gay best friend Glenn Wagner, who expected only an effigy. The team finds Roger secretly lead a double life as his own business partner under an alias, Faber, with another wife, Katherine Faber, and a teenage daughter, Amy. But who knew enough to kill the bigamist and why exactly? Because Horatio's irresponsible ex Julia Winston nearly got their son Kyle killed driving her, Horatio has Kyle recruited as autopsy intern, with his own apartment. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

(at around 44 mins) It is said that acetone is highly tenacious and residue would still be present on the handler. Actually acetone is very volatile. Unless someone had submerged his hands or other body parts into acetone for a considerable time, all of it would have been evaporated at the point the investigation reached this level. Also the discussed process that uses acetone and chlorine bleach, will produce very crude chloroform with side products like hydrochloric acid vapor, that may pose a direct hazard to the handler. Definitely, if the perpetrator had prepared chloroform previously, and not taken the raw materials with him to the scene to produce it while the victim was watching, he would be unlikely to have such an amount of acetone vapor around him that it would have absorbed into the wood of the canopy. Definitely Distasteful
31 July 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This was a distasteful episode, right from the start when a mean-spirited woman and her gay friend hold a "divorce party," complete with blasphemes by reading biblical passages and the ex-husband being hung in effigy. Nice taste, huh? Well, it turns out the dummy being hung was real - the real husband - and the ex-wife is mad only because it ruined the "party." Whew, as I said - some really distasteful people in this episode.

Anyway, as IMDb tells us on this title page, it turns out the dead man was living a double life: married to two women at the same time with a child in each family. Needless to say, this is not received well by either the moms or their kids!

Meanwhile, in what will probably become another issue in the coming weeks, at the end of the show our medical examiner, "Dr. Tara Price," is shown stealing Oxycodone pills from a dead victim. Well, I guess that means she won't be around next season. Too bad.....I kind of liked her.
