A contractor accidentally crushes the man buried alive in a closed casket. It's father Michael 'Mike' Olvera, whose 'mission' in Miami's Latino ghetto offered boys an alternative to the criminal street gangs. He was shot with a gun which traces in various ways to present members and a recently released leader of the worst gang. Evidence and testimonies are hard to get, but helping a mother get a fair burial rate proves key in several ways to dig deeper in a bizarre web of motives and means, while more crime is to result. A Good Man Goes Down
8 July 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A good man is shot and killed in a bizarre way. He's shot in the chest, put in a coffin and then buried in some remote site. On the same day - only on CSI! - some construction workers are drilling and then drill right through the box into the guy's chest, finishing him for good! That's the opening scene, and it's a beauty. We see it played over several times during the first half-hour.

The man was "Rev. Mike Olivera, a man dedicating his life to keep kids out of gangs. Apparently, that didn't make him a popular man, especially with the crime crowd.

Who did this? That's the main question. The answer will shock you.

Meanwhile, in a sidebar story, "Natalie Boa Vista" (Eva LaRue) gets involved in helping a young woman and here son in that neighborhood.
