Howard calls the guys into the Mars rover control room on an emergency. He maneuvered the rover into a crevice, and he needs some help from Sheldon and Raj to maneuver it out. Leonard's task is to get Stephanie, the girl Howard sneaked into the control room, out of the facility, she who doesn't have clearance to be there. On Leonard's task to drive Stephanie home, Stephanie and Leonard hook up. She's a medical doctor with a high libido. Despite Stephanie's assertion that Howard had no chance with her (she went with him since he told her she could drive a car on Mars), Leonard feels guilty, especially in that he wants to see her again. What makes it worse for Leonard is that he knows that Howard still thinks he's dating her. Leonard has to figure out what to do to reconcile dating Stephanie while still being friends with Howard. CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #227 Dear George Lucas, May I call you Mr. Lucas? On behalf of the writers of The Big Bang Theory, I would like to thank you for your astounding body of work, which has awakened the child within us and unleashed our dreams. That being said, we hope you don't take offense at our good-natured jest regarding your most recent animated efforts. Yes they were cheap shots, but we can't help but hold you to a higher standard -- a standard of your own making. In closing, we are all looking forward to Indiana Jones 5 - The Curse of the Golden Catheter. Oops, sorry again. Very truly yours, The Writers P.S. To William Shatner, director of Star Trek 5. Once again, we have another hilarious episode of "The Big Bang Theory" with The Lizard-Spock Expansion
17 September 2009 | by (Baton Rouge, La.) – See all my reviews

With the third season starting on Monday, I'm watching past episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" from last season that I missed when they first aired in order to play catch up. In this one, as Sheldon and Raj do a "rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock" on what to watch, Howard comes in dressed for clubbing (with an eye-patch). Not long after he leaves, he calls his buddies for some help with a Mars Rover he let a woman doctor named Stephanie drive which ended up in a ditch. As Leonard walks her to her car, Raj and Sheldon help Howard. At the car, Stephanie puts the moves on Leonard who doesn't resist at all despite concerns for Howard. When he asks her if Howard had a chance, she replies, "Not with the eye-patch." I'll just stop there and just say what another hilarious episode this was and it was nice to see Howard have another chance to show how hurt he can be despite his bravado. And as Stephanie, Sara Rue fits in as a brief recurring character here. And Jim Parsons as Sheldon is the best thing this series has especially the way he tried to cover up for Leonard when someone asked where he's going. Several more episodes to go before the season premiere...
